![]() I won't go so far as to call it filler, but it is really familiar to what we have already read in this series. Instead of moving the plot forward in any substantive way, this was yet another shuffling step of plot progression rather than the giant leap that this series desperately needed. This book was disappointing for exactly this reason. After all this time, it doesn't really matter how tasty that sandwich is, it's not enough to satisfy my hunger. When this series was producing a book a month, it was kind of like reaching for another sandwich to stave off that hunger and being satisfied with what you got. Soon you'll either be wanting another sandwich, or something more substantial. ![]() ![]() They're more of a light lunch, and while they are tasty, they won't keep you satisfied for long.
